Day 1: Departure

Airport – Pinnawala Dambulla

Arrival in Sri Lanka. You will be met on arrival by your company representative

Transfer to Dambulla.

En-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage – At this orphanage you will find elephants of all ages, which are abandoned or otherwise unable to fend for themselves by way of being injured. They are looked after with loving care until such time they are ready to work or be freed back to the jungles. The unique feature is that one could feed the baby elephants with bottles of milk during the feeding times. The elephants are also bathed daily in a river located across the orphanage. This is an Elephant Photographer’s Paradise.

Proceed to Dambulla

In the Evening Minneriya National Park- Situated in the Polonnaruwa district in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka the Minneriya National Park covers an area of 8,889 hectares. Hundreds of animal and plant species are found in the Minneriya National Park. This includes Deer, Sambhurs, Monkeys, Mongoose, Leopard, Bats and reptiles like Crocodiles, Pythons, and Monitors. Around 160 species of birds, 09 amphibians, 25 reptile species, 26 fish species and more than 78 butterfly species have been found in the Minneriya National Park. Day 2

After breakfast at Hotel
Proceed to Sigiriya lion’s rock and it is one of the famous and most attractive places in Sri Lanka. Sigiriya means lion’s rock. Height of the rock is around 200 meters. According to the history of Sri Lanka this rock used as a kingdom in Sri Lanka by king Kashyapa in 5th century. Sigiriya consists with all features in the kingdom such as flower gardens, lakes, caves etc. Sigiriya provides evident for the great technologies in ancient Sri Lanka. Several ponds are located in the top of the Sigiriya. Water for this water gardens come from the underground pipes system. This system is also active in rain season.

Village tour
Bullock Cart Ride – We started the tour from a bullock cart which is used before many years ago. It will to the guest around the village for 1 hour.
Boat Ride – after the little walking from the bullock cart then the next adventure is the catamaran ride which is more attractive. Guests can enjoy the time in the lake while watching the nice birds and pretty scenery of the lake around 1 hour.
Village House – Then we take the guest to the village house which is made out of clay in a very calm place. First they will warmly welcome the quest with some herbal drinks. Then the cookery demonstration will began. After that they can enjoy the pure Sri Lankan lunch. Then they can walk around the garden and see the vegetables and herbs that they grow and climb the tree house which is another interesting thing. The guest can enjoy the time as they want.

Day 3

Dambulla – Kandy

Breakfast at the Hotel

Transfer to Kandy figure of the recumbent Buddha carved out of the rock.
En route Visit Matale Spice Gardens, to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Clients will be able to see how some of these spices are grown and processed. Witness Cookery demonstrations as well.

Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts center and a gem museum and lapidary. Gem Museum / Gem Mining / Gem cutting centres /Cultural Dance.

Day 4

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Visit Knuckles Mountain Range lies in central Sri Lanka, in the Districts of Matale and Kandy. The range takes its name from a series of recumbent folds and peaks in the west of the massif which resemble the knuckles of clenched fist when viewed from certain locations in the Kandy District. Whilst this name was assigned by early British surveyors, the Sinhalese residents have traditionally referred to the area as Dumbara Kanduvetiya meaning mist-laden mountain range (Cooray, 1984).The entire area is characterized by is often robed in thick layers of cloud. In addition to its aesthetic value the range is of great scientific interest. It is a climatic microcosm of the rest of Sri Lanka as the conditions of all the climatic zones in the country are exhibited in the massif. At higher elevations there is a series of isolated cloud forests, harboring a variety of flora and fauna, some of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world Although the range constitutes approximately 0.03% of the island’s total area it is home to a significantly higher proportion of the country’s biodiversity.

In the Evening Proceed to Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya Station) by Train, from Nanu Oya station to hotel by vehicle.

Day 5

Nuwara Eliya

With packed breakfast, Visit Horton Plains National Park is situated in the Central Province of Sri Lanka of Nuwara Eliya District. The plateau of Horton Plains which is at a nominal elevation of 2100 m also bears the 2nd and the 3rd highest peaks of Sri Lanka, namely Kirigalpoththa (2389m) and Totupolakanda (2357m). The area of the Horton Plains is 3160 ha. Or 31.6 sq. km. and is about 8% of the total upper montane forests and grasslands of Sri Lanka.

In the Evening Tea Factory & Tea Plantation the cool calm climate, gorges rolling tea plantation which makes the best “Ceylon tea” and the breath taking beautiful waterfalls makes Nuwara Eliya one of the most beautiful town in the world.

Day 6: Nuwara Eliya – Kithulgala – Mirissa

Breakfast at Hotel.

After Breakfast proceed to Kithulgala, it is a small town in the west of Sri Lanka. A rain forestry area, which gets two monsoons each year, and is one of the wettest places in Sri Lanka. Nevertheless, it comes alive in the first three months of the year, especially in February, the driest month.

Day 7:  Mirissa – Bentota 

With packed Breakfast, Early morning transfer to the Mirissa fisheries Harbour to be there by 06.00 am to board your vessel to proceed on a Whale and dolphin watching expedition.
Whale and dolphin watching is an exciting and unique activity popular in Mirissa. The frequent sightings all year around has put Sri Lanka and Mirrissa on the worlds ‘Top Hot Spots’ for sperm and blue whale sightings. The blue whales are frequently seen during the first quarter off the South and West Coast of Sri Lanka, which is part of their migration pattern.

In the Afternoon Transfer to Bentota
En – route Water Sports
The placid waters of the Bentota Lagoon and the surrounding temperate ocean provide an all year round venue for many water sports such as wind-surfing, canoeing, water-skiing, and banana-boating and deep sea fishing.

Day 8: Bentota – Colombo

Transfer to Colombo
Colombo City Tour with shopping Colombo is the commercial and business center of Sri Lanka buildings and hotels. It is filled with shopping malls the Pettah bazaar – where one can shop for bargain. Some of the finest structures built during the colonial times still preserved in one part of the City. And the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) which was a gift to Sri Lanka from the People’s Republic of China.


Day 9:  Ayubowan srilanka

Colombo – Airport
Breakfast at the Hotel

Transferred to the Airport for the flight back
